I know it’s May, but I have been wanting to create a Christmas album about our traditions. When Christmas rolls around, I am too wrapped up in the season (no pun intended) and put it off until later.
It’s later.
And in case I wasn’t feeling it, Mother Nature blessed us with snow this morning. I kid you not.
So here is my first page:

Some other random memories about this picture:
- I cropped it out, but there is a fuzzy green tissue box cover to my left. I forgot all about that ugly thing.
- I loved that polyester skirt. It’s so seventies.
- I see a star ornament in the tree. I think I made that with Mrs. Bayliff…the best teacher ever.
- That doll had a diaper and peed. I loved her.
- The brown paneling on the wall behind the tree is long gone. Dad replaced it with real wood paneling.
- I was cute in such a cheesy sort of way.
