And I’m Back

by Cammy on June 1, 2009

So I took a bit of an internet vacation. There have been so many things going on at my house that I really didn’t have much time to spend on the computer. I haven’t been taking pictures and I haven’t been doing any scrapbooking.

So what’s been going on?

Well, off the top of my head:

  • We had company.  Levi’s daughter spent the weekend with us last weekend to visit and bond with Jacob. They love each other. It’s so obvious.
  • We planted two crab apple trees – they are so pretty. Must get pictures.
  • We got the garden planted. Planting was the easy part! Watering it was a whole ‘nuther ball of wax. We ended up buying a separate pump so it has it’s own water source.
  • Levi went to Alberta and got a new, young bull. I don’t have any opinions of him, yet. He’s been in a pen by himself and will remain there until the end of the month when he will be released to go forth and multiply.
  • We have purged a lot of junk from our basement. The Sally Ann likes us. A lot.
  • Jacob cut a tooth. As if his smile wasn’t cute enough. Now he has a pearly white and the cuteness just about kills me. Again. Must take pictures.
  • Speaking of the little monkey, he’s six months old today. As each month goes by, I love the age he’s at and don’t want him to get any older, but then I love the next stage. Sigh. I love that little guy so much.
  • Another thing about Jacob…he’s going through a major Momma’s Boy stage. The only time that I can be out of his line of vision is when Daddy is with him. And even then it’s iffy.
  • A final note about the little man. He has started eating solids. And he was constipated. And I nearly cried for him. That’s all I want to say about that.

I’ll be back. And it won’t be in two weeks. Promise!

P.S. It took me about five hours to write this. I’ve been feeding, changing, laundering, and putting together a high chair. That’s why I was away for two weeks.
