When I first found myself drawn to a simpler style of scrapbooking, Michelle Martin was the designer who caught my eye.
Michelle designs at Designer Digitals. I love the way that she combines bold colour palettes and patterns with mod designs in one kit. Her paper packs use a lot of white, off white, or grey. If you like a contemporary, stylish like, shop Michelle’s store. Click any of the paper pack images for a direct link to Michelle’s store.
I don’t own the kesia paper pack…yet. Who ever thought that fuchsia, navy, and orange could look so cute together?
This paper pack has been on my wish list for ages. There is a sale going on at Designer Digitals starting tomorrow, November 4th. I think I’ll be snagging this one.
Now this paper pack, I do own. How chic is Bella? I love the red, turquoise, brown, white colour combo. Such a hip take on Christmas. I’m tossing around the idea of using this pack to make family photo Christmas cards.
Here are a couple of ways that I have used Michelle’s designs.
Paper: Michelle Martin – Aki
Frames: Ella Publishing – Retro Digital Frames
Stitches: Dani Mogstad – The Ultimate Stitch Collection
Actions: Kristen Rice – Shadows Perfected
Fonts: Fling; Pea Annalee Script
Michelle’s Aki paper pack was the first kit that I purchased from her store. The patterns make me think of autumn. I love that I can use a flower pattern in my boy’s album and not think it looks too girly.
And then I fell in love with Ingrid. It made me think of my little Nature Boy, so I used it on this page and altered the colours a bit to match the photo.
Paper: Michelle Martin – Ingrid
Screws: Karla Dudley – Frame Essentials
As long as Michelle Martin keeps creating these fabulous designs, I will keep stalking her store!
Disclaimer: This is not an advertisement. Michelle Martin does not know that I exist. Nor does she know that I am splashing her fab work all over my blog. I will receive no kick back for this post. I am sharing only because I truly love the designs in her store. So there!
